The Silk, and Everything Else in the Bar

Our hydrolyzed silk protein begins as cocoons grown in Shiquan, Shaanxi, a region shaped by generations of silk farming. Many soaps borrow the word silk for marketing. Ours is the real protein, drawn from real cocoons, worked in by hand, which is why the lather turns silken, not just soapy. Jojoba works quietly to keep oil production even, while illite, a purifying mineral clay found in no other bar in the collection, adsorbs excess oil and impurities through its natural negative charge. Shea butter moves in right behind it, restoring what the clay clears away with rich, lasting moisture. Damask rose adds its own antioxidant fortification, with a long history of evening the look of skin tone.

How to Use

Place it in a foaming net, wet with warm water, and rub gently. The lather turns silken almost immediately, stretching between your palms before settling into a rich, quiet calm on skin. It rinses clean and biodegrades easily, leaving nothing behind. Keep the bar dry between uses to extend its longevity.
